This is not a Global Trees Campaign event, but may be of interest to those with a dry forest focus.


The aim of this meeting is to bring together leading researchers in savanna and dry forest formations throughout the tropics. The conference will focus on five principal themes: Plant Biodiversity; Animal Biodiversity; Palaeo-ecology and Environmental Change; Environment and Environmental Processes; and Human Ecology and Development. The lecture programme will be held at the RBGE, while accommodation will be at the University of Edinburgh Halls of Residence.
